The Butterfly Effect Experience (B.E.E.)

The butterfly effect rests on the notion that the world is deeply interconnected, such that one small occurrence can influence a much larger complex system.

The LENA Project and Oaknoll are presenting The Butterfly Effect Experience (B.E.E.).  Young children and seniors in our community will join forces to  learn about the plight of monarchs and other pollinators, and find ways we can take little actions that just might have a large effect.

Butterflies and other pollinators play a vital role in our natural ecosystem and food system.  Yet, their numbers are declining due to environmental pollution and climate change.

We hope that you will join us in learning about native pollinators and actions we can take to protect them. Together, our efforts to study and create more hospitable environments for pollinators to grow and flourish, we will unleash a “butterfly effect” which continues to reap benefits, not only for us and our community, but for generations to come.

Head over to the B.E.E. Hive to find events in our community that showcase the wonderful world of pollinators. We look forward to B.E.E.ing with you!
