LENA Outreach programs include focused climate-education activities. We will come for 1 hour to meet with your group. We will do a read-aloud story-time, discussion, a simple craft or activity, and end with an easy do-able action we can pledge for our Earth (maybe as simple as turning out lights or throwing away trash). We do not have a set fee, but suggest a donation for whatever amount you are able.

Possible topics include: Our Earth, Arctic, Oceans, Trees, Reduce/Reuse/Recycle, Nature, Trees. Outreach programs are designed for preschool-elementary aged groups

Our time together is positive, non-threatening, and non pressure-inducing. We take time to listen to ideas and concerns the kids might have. If a scary notion comes up in discussion, we acknowledge the seriousness and redirect the discussion to the positive age-appropriate ways in which we can help.
