LENA Earth Warriors Kids Choir (LKC)
The Lena Kids Choir is made up of a lively group of children ages 4-9 united by their care for Mother Earth. They hope to inspire a connection to nature through the joy of music and to spread awareness about the importance of protecting Earth.
The newly formed Lena Kids Choir is made up of a lively group of children aged 4-9 who care about Mother Earth and want to spread the word of protecting her. They love trees, flowers, sea turtles, tigers, and bunnies. They enjoy jumping off rocks, playing at the beach, walking in the woods, and rolling in the grass. They came together in Summer 2024 to create 2 songs in response to Amanda Gorman's Prompt for Planet for the Prompt for the Planet Showcase where they made their debut. They are passionate, knowledgeable, and they have something to say. Oh, and they are adorable!
After their initial performance, the group requested to stay together and continue to inspire through music. The group meets weekly to learn climate lessons using The Earth Warriors Curriculum and to expand their repertoire of nature-themed songs to share with the community. They hope to use music to spread joy of nature, inspiring others to act on behalf of Mother Earth.
